Why there's no score

Most compatibility pages end with a percentage, and we get why you searched for one. We left it out because a number can't say how two people talk, argue or make up, and it can make a good relationship feel doomed or a shaky one feel safe. Astrology can do something more useful: describe two styles side by side, including where you speak the same language and where one of you will need to translate.

What gets compared

Your Suns are about who you each are, your Moons about what you each need, your Venuses about how you each love, and your Mars signs about how you each go after what you want. For each pair, the tool shows how the signs relate by element and modality. Treat it as a conversation starter, and ask the other person whether it sounds like them.

Questions

Is there a compatibility percentage?

No. The tool describes how two sets of signs relate and leaves out any score, verdict or ranking.

Which signs are the most compatible?

Any two signs can have a good relationship and any two can find it hard. What matters is the two people in it, so the tool doesn't rank pairs.

Do I need birth times for both people?

Only for the Moon. It moves fast enough that a date alone often leaves two possible signs, so the tool shows both until you add a time and place. The Sun, Venus and Mars are nearly always settled by the date.

Where do the two birthdays go?

Nowhere. They're worked out in your browser, never sent to us and never put in the page address.
